Crosby Group provided complete structural engineering design for this new 6-story, 811-car parking structure to serve San Francisco General Hospital. The complicated design included the demolition of the existing Muni Maintenance building while maintaining and incorporating the existing 2-story retaining walls. The retaining walls were strengthened utilizing shotcrete, which substantially minimized construction costs and schedule. The parking garage is a cast-in-place concrete shearwall structure with decorative precast concrete art panels.
