Prisons/Jails : South Placer Adult Detention Facility (Design-Build)   1  2  3 Crosby Group provided the structural design for the new 187,000sf South Placer Adult Correctional Facility. This correctional facility provides for an additional 400-beds adjacent to the existing Santucci Justice Center in Roseville, California and provides a much needed expansion to the County’s jail capacity. Services provided by this facility include administrative offices, booking/release, a medical care unit, general housing unit, and specialty and sheltered housing units. The facility supports the court functions of the adjacent Justice Center, and includes a tunnel connecting the jail to the Justice Center for facilitating the transport of inmates, as well as secured booking and processing facilities including transport holding cells. The facility is being constructed using the design-build delivery method and is on track to achieve a LEED-Silver certification.
