The San Juan County Adult Detention Facility is a 200,000 square foot multi-facility complex delivered to the client as a design-build project with an aggressive schedule and tight budget. The scope of work included administration offices, kitchen and laundry facilities and a medical unit to support the 1000-bed housing requirement.
Crosby Group contributed to the savings of this project through resourceful use of innovative building products and active participation in teaming that accommodated the aggressive schedule. Structural solutions contributed to the favorable costs of the facility, which when completed were significantly less than the national average per-bed costs for similar facilities.
