 |
 |
Crosby Group is providing complete structural engineering design services to Stanislaus County
for their 153,645sf Public Safety Center Expansion located adjacent to the existing Public Safety Center Facility in Ceres, CA.
This design-build expansion is comprised of two separate projects due to different funding sources, and will serve to ease the
County’s overcrowding of the jail population. Project One consists of a 120,000sf housing facility with two maximum-security housing
units, a medical/mental health housing unit, a health services unit, a security administration (control) center, and circulation and
common space. Project One’s construction is funded primarily with AB900 Phase II State Funding with a County match. Project Three
consists of a 33,645sf intake, release and transportation center including facility administration, lobby staff support spaces and
inmate property storage, with funding coming exclusively from the County.
Both Project One and Three are being design-built concurrently with Hensel Phelps Construction Company and Dewberry Architecture.
