Fire/Police Stations : Fremont Fire Station #6

Crosby Group provided structural engineering for the design of this new 13,000sf Fire Station for the City of Fremont. The Fremont Fire Station #6 is
equipped with four apparatus bays and houses one engine company (three personnel), one truck company (three personnel) and one battalion commander.
The apparatus bay structure is made up of concrete masonry units with a metal deck over steel beam supports. The main ridge is supported using a tube steel
truss. Reserve apparatus is stored in a separate building approximately 2,400 square feet in size. The structure is a combination of one and two story
living areas designed using steel brace frames with wood infill. The entire structure rests on a mat slab foundation.
