K-12 : MET Sacramento High School Classroom Building

Crosby Group provided structural engineering design services for the new 4,500 square foot Classroom
Building at the MET Sacramento High School, a 300-student charter school administered by Big Picture Learning for the Sacramento City
Unified School District. The classroom building includes three Studio learning spaces that have the flexibility of being combined which
was made possible by utilizing custom wood trusses in the main classroom portion of the building.
The building also houses a new culinary
arts classroom complete with a chef’s counter, convection ovens, 8-burner range, floor mixer, dry storage, walk-in refrigerator, freezer
and separate office space. This one-story wood shearwall building provides the needed expansion space to a school dedicated to innovative
personalized education. This project utilized the Lease-Lease Back delivery method.
