|
Crosby Group provided structural engineering design for the renovation and expansion to the
existing Performing Arts Building at the College of Marin - Kentfield Campus. The renovation of the existing 86,000sf
Performing Arts Building included the demolition of 34,000sf to make room for the expansion, and included technology, HVAC,
ADA and life-safety upgrades to remaining spaces such as the 600-seat theater and lobby, classrooms, offices, and music studios.
Additional work included improvements to the exterior appearance of the building and the entrance Arts Plaza using native and
drought-resistant plants. The two-story, 9,700 square foot expansion provides mezzanine access to the theater projection booth
