Hotel and Country Clubs : Lady Luck Hotel & Casino Renovation & Addition |
|
|
|
Crosby Group participated in the master planning and schematic design of
the remodel and addition of the Lacy Luck Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. Located on Third Street, a block off
of downtown Fremont Street, this Historic Hotel and Casino is slated for a renovation that will include two
city blocks along with the adjacent property. Located on the adjacent property is the only standing historical
building in the city of Las Vegas, a US Post Office building which will be converted into a museum for Mob
memorabilia.
The project is naturally highly sensitive to the owner’s desire to maintain the iconic flavor of the facility
with respect to the culture from which it has grown. The delivery is a Design-Build teaming effort. The finished
facility will be LEED certified at a minimum and may achieve a higher rating.
Crosby Group brings technical innovation for the design of the Casino, Room Towers, Pedestrian Bridges, Retail
and Meeting spaces, Back of House and Elevated Parking Structure. The existing Casino roof is lifted to provide
more ceiling height and a Pool and Spa is added at roof top. New and existing towers are connected by pedestrian
bridges for which Crosby Group models building performance. Crosby Group provides creative engineering solutions
that enhance the Design-Build Team’s ability to achieve efficient construction and to realize the priorities of
the Owner.
