Office Complexes/High Tech : Colony Square Mixed Use Complex   1  2  3 The Crosby Group was the structural Engineer of record for the design of this new 10 screen state-of the art movie theatre and retail complex. This building serves as the new centerpiece for the new Atascadero City Center and includes 35,000 square feet for the theatre as well as 22,000 square feet of retail/ restaurant space and 10,500 square feet for offices. One of the unique challenges included the design and of a 50 foot Rotunda structure which serves as the entrance to the new theatre. The Crosby Group also worked closely with the retained contractor and evaluated various structural schemes and detailing alternatives to find the most cost-effective alternatives.
